Acumen Software, the developer of the Forcelink mobile work and asset management solution, is pleased to announce that it has rolled out its Powerlink OMS (Outage Management System) module in the Dispatch and System Control environments at City Power.
Forcelink has replaced City Power’s old Fault Reporting System (FRS) and will be used by System Control for the logging of network faults, managing unplanned outages, managing abnormal plant and capturing of root causes. The rollout integrates System Control and Dispatch who will now be utilizing one system as opposed to disparate systems.
The Acumen Software and City Power project team implemented Powerlink in a record 4 months’ project which was delivered on budget and on time.
